About me

I'm Husam, a software engineer with focus on frontend development.

I'm naturally drawn into technology. I played around with html when I was 12, then at 15 I learned my first programming language (Pascal), then Delphi at 16, and Visual Basic at 17.

In university I studied graphic design, so frontend development felt like a natural progression when I started learning it.

In my free time, I like painting, making music, and building side projects.

Projects

An AI perfume formula builder - It's my most advanced fullstack project. I used Typescript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, ChromaDB (Vector database), OpenAI (structured outputs). Implemented authentication flows including email verification.

A new way to chat with LLMs. Create threads and combine their contexts.

A NextJS app for searching TV shows and showing their details.

Arguably a questionable app (broadcast-rights-wise), but it was a nice excercise.

I made this to urge you, and myself, to do great things now.

I was downloading Call of Duty, but the app didn't tell me how much time is left for the download to finish, so I made this calculator.

I wanted to create a pretty website, focusing only on CSS. And I'm happy with how this turned out.

My PS4 controller's vibration wasn't responding. Luckily, JavaScript had an API to interact-with/test the controller

Purely driven by FOMO :) and inspired by the first image of Sagittarius A (the blackhole at the center of our galaxy)
